My name is Lane Anderson, owner and operator of Anderson ArborWorks, based out of Millbrook, AL. I am a father, husband, certified urban forester, and the 2025 Alabama Tree Climbing Champion. I will also be taking my ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) certification exam next month.
My late father, Roger Anderson, was an arborist in the Pacific Northwest for my entire life, so to say I was born into this industry would not be an understatement. We were business partners. He was truly my best friend, a great father, grandfather, and husband, as well as an exceptional arborist and mentor. He taught me so much in every aspect of life, and I will be forever grateful to him.
Anderson ArborWorks was started in April 2025 after my dad lost his battle with leukemia. We have been incredibly blessed to stay busy from day one, even as a small, one-man operation. I have been in the industry full-time for nearly 10 years now, and I still get just as excited every morning as I did the first day my dad put me in a climbing harness.
